Feed The Poor

Dear Partners,

We live in extraordinary times. While the western world is coming out of this COVID-19 pandemic week by week, the poorer nations are heading into the storm day by day.

While in lockdown we asked ourselves “what can we do to help”? So Pioneer have decided to donate food to the world’s poor through some mission organisations we trust.

If you would like to help, LETS DO IT TOGETHER. What an exciting opportunity to mobilise as the army of God and help those in need. We can all do our bit! There are 3 ministries we have decided to help, and give some support, ministries we trust and know they will get the support to the places of need. If you feel led, sow your financial offering into the account details below and lets be a part of the answer!

Proverbs 19:17 “He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord.”

Kenya

We are connected to a ministry called “My Fathers House Ministries” run by an apostolic father Boyd Dennis, in Kibera, one of the biggest slums in the world. Here is what he writes about the tragic situation:

“Chaos Defines the Reality of Life In Kibera”

This is real life in Kibera and reflects the urgent need of My Father’s House Ministries for your assistance. This morning’s headline in the Standard reads “Chaos In Kibera Continues”…An article recognizing the continuing struggle of so many to just get a small portion of food that comes through public assistance and private donations

Pakistan

In Pakistan we are connected to Pastor Khurram, who has a ministry to the poor slave children that work the brick making factories in Lahore.

Due to the Muslim-led government, the NGO’s mainly distribute food to the Muslim neighbourhoods, but neglect the Chrisitan communities.

This causes food to be in short supply among the Christian’s there. The distribution of food is a great way to reach Muslcims with the gospel during this time!

Fiji

In Fiji we are partnering with District Council of Social Services in Lautoka and our contact there Apolosi Ranawai Lasei, who has helped us with our crusades in Fiji for many years now. Fiji has been hit by COVID-19 and also a cyclone in the last few weeks.

“In the wake of the recent cyclone TC Harold which devastated Fiji recently, many families were displaced and affected both directly and indirectly by the cyclone … On the same tone the CORVID 19 pandemic intensifies in the whole world and having it reached the shores of Fiji, this also has been declared a disaster in our beloved Islands.”

Cambodia

Most of these families live in the country side and are really really poor. Me and my team had to travel 35km from our home to able to reach them. We shared God’s word and Gods love and prayed for them and they were really blessed. Some even cried and said this is a blessing from God! They only have little left to survive or they even have just one meal in a day.

YOUR GIFT

This is a fight we can win!

These 3 ministries are trusted partner’s of Pioneer and we want to do our bit to help them during this time. They are on the front lines of poverty and need. We are planning a finical gift to each ministry to help them, but want to give our partners an opportunity to give as well – and partake in there needs.

Any gifts will 100% go to these ministries. If you feel led to give, please do so below, remembering to put “FOOD” as the reference so we know what it’s for! What a great day to be alive!
